Warehouse cargo handling and storage

Cargo Terminal Pulkovo JSC offers warehouse handling services of all cargo shipped/arriving from/to Pulkovo Airport.

Warehouse cargo handling and storage services are not included in the cost of air shipping, and are paid separately by the shipper/consignee or “authorized agents” and include the following operations:

• verification of the authority of the shipper/consignee representative upon releasing/accepting the cargo
• acceptance from shippers and preparation/verification of the cargo’s readiness for shipping;
• handling the inbound cargo and releasing the handled cargo to the consignees;
• transfer of cargo between the cargo storage and acceptance/releasing areas;
• documenting of discrepancies when detected;
• consulting on airline interaction regulations;
• ensuring cargo safety and security within the cargo terminal grounds.

Cargo storage

Cargo Terminal Pulkovo JSC offers you secure storage of all types of cargo, including valuables, dangerous cargo and cargo requiring special temperature conditions, with full warehouse handling services. Free storage is provided for cargo to Pulkovo Airport within two days, starting from the consignee’s notification day. Outbound cargo is stored for free within three days from the time of acceptance to the warehouse.

An additional payment is charged for storage beyond the indicated period.
